Snow and snow drifts are to be expected above 2400 metres a.s.l, especially on north-facing slopes. Caution: local ice patches. Good footwear is essential. We recommend hiking poles.

Hiking season: As a rule, the hiking trails are open from mid-May to mid-November. The exact time of closure and opening depends on the weather and the altitude of the hiking trail.
