The four seasons are particularly pronounced in the National Park. Here, flora and fauna have developed strategies to cope with the particularly cold and long winters and the enormous difference in temperature between summer and winter. Winter poses a particular challenge. To avoid disturbing the animals, the National Park remains closed during this time.
