Une grande partie de ses d\u00e9couvertes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans le Parc National.<br \/>\nBraun-Blanquet a reconnu que la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation se transformait lentement selon certains principes. Il soup\u00e7onna en 1917 que la for\u00eat au Parc National allait s\u2019\u00e9tendre sans intervention humaine. Il d\u00e9finit des surfaces permanentes d&rsquo;observation qu&rsquo;il examinait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement en diff\u00e9rents emplacements du Parc National. Ces surfaces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plus tard compl\u00e9t\u00e9es par d&rsquo;autres chercheurs et ces exp\u00e9riences furent ainsi poursuivies.<\/p>\n<p>Comme la reforestation n\u2019avait pas encore vraiment repris, de petits enclos ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s il y a une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es. Ils permettent une comparaison du d\u00e9veloppement de la flore avec et en l\u2019absence des ongul\u00e9s.
