In the National Park, striated mezereon is the more common of the two, in particular in the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalpark.ch\/go\/en\/flora-and-fauna\/habitats\/pass-dal-fuorn-forests\/\"> mountain pine forests.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Common mezereon blooms as early as the end of April\/beginning of May, long before it has any leaves. In autumn, the bushes carry round, scarlet-red berries.<\/p>\n<p>In the mountain pine forests of the National Park, striated mezereon is one of the most common flowering plants. In June, the air is filled with its fragrance.
