Strictly carnivorous, the lynx was previously considered by man to be a competitor. They mainly eat chamois and roe deer, creeping up on them and killing them with a well-aimed bite in the neck. It remained in the region for several months, during which time it was fitted with a tracker collar. It has subsequently migrated to the Trentino region in Italy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>April 2020<\/strong>: After the discovery of footprints in the National Park by wardens, gamekeepers from Canton Graub\u00fcnden agency for hunting and fishing were able to document the lynx outside the Park with camera traps.<\/li>\n<li><strong>July 2023: First confirmed lynx reproduction in the Engadine<\/strong>.
